I am hopeful that in the next few days that we will be able to come to an agreement on a bill that responds to the major crisis, at least in the short term.

What the speaker is saying and what I would reiterate is that we are going to be voting on a piece of legislation as soon as we can get to a deal, as soon as we can get to something that will pass.
