The start-ups are all focused on solutions that could help not just Gaza but also the pan-Arabic speaking region, this is great - it really helps them get to a commercially viable scale.

The key thing that has made Israel successful is access to capital and government policies that make it very attractive to invest, this is the main thing that differentiates the Gaza environment from the Israeli environment.
