I have attended the funerals of fallen law enforcement officers across our state, and I take time to thank them every day for their dedicated service and sacrifice.

As we approach the hottest time of day, I once again urge Marylanders to be mindful of the impact of this severe weather on their health and wellness, if you havent already, please head to air-conditioned spaces as temperatures peak this afternoon.

This was the right decision, as it was clear the mayor could no longer lead effectively. The federal and state investigations must and will continue to uncover the facts.

The issue I'm concerned about is he has a very low re-elect number, I think in the 30s, high 30s, low 40s, so the chance of him losing a general election are pretty good. I'm not saying he couldn't win, but he's pretty weak in the general election.

I'm watching with great interest all of this talk, i'm flattered people are saying that and including me in those discussions. My focus, my plan right now is to stay here for four years and do the best job I can in Maryland, but I've said,' You never say never.' Who knows what's going to happen.

At some point, if he weakens further, Republicans would say we're concerned about whether or not he's going to win if we're going to face a very far-left Democratic nominee, and is he going to take the rest of us down with him, if you're an elected official.

The mere fact that we have had discussions with the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and Department of Homeland Security, Office of Cybersecurity and Communications should provide evidence of our grave concern regarding this matter.

The place looked terrific, it's just devastating because people have their lives tied up in this and went through a heck of a lot and came back and now they're starting all over again.

He was a dedicated public servant in Baltimore County for more than two decades, and we join with the citizens of Baltimore County and all Marylanders in mourning, in the difficult days to come, we will provide any support we possibly can to the Kamenetz family and the citizens of Baltimore County.

The right to demonstrate is a fundamental part of our society, but damaging property or putting innocent bystanders in danger will not be tolerated.

Look, people have the right to protest and express their frustration, but Baltimore city families deserve peace and safety in their community, and these acts of violence and destruction of property cannot and will not be tolerated.

Passing a state law that forces counties to raise taxes on their citizens against their will is not the best way to address the issue.

There is only one governor at a time, and I'm not in a place to second-guess what is probably one of the most difficult decisions a governor may have to make.
