A successful ransomware attack at a critical point before an election could limit access to information and has the potential to undermine public confidence in the election itself. That is why we are working alongside election officials and their private sector partners to help protect their databases and respond to possible ransomware attacks.

We have a President-Elect in Joe Biden and we have to move forward, we have to get past this. The damage that's been done to the American confidence in the election -- I hope we're not at a point of no return, but we're going to have a lot of work to restore confidence.

It's perfectly clear to me and I think most Americans.
