They had a pretty good quarter of earnings last quarter and investors might be positioning themselves ahead of the next quarter of reporting and guidance that we see from some of the big tech companies, that weakness that we saw the past couple of weeks has given people an opportunity to jump back into some of these names.

There is certainly no reason given the data we saw this morning to knock the Fed off the track of probably one more raise this year and maybe an announcement in September about reducing the bond purchase.

I'm a little surprised the markets reacted somewhat negatively to it, the only thing that might counter balance that headline number is the average hourly earnings. That could worry the Fed a little bit and worry investors that a possible rate rise is still on the table.

The consumer should be feeling pretty good heading into the last couple of the months of the year, we think we could be set up for a little bit of a (stock market) rally here into year-end.

We've seen in the past seven to ten trading days the likelihood of a Fed increase has been rising and yet we've seen the equity markets handle that pretty well, today's numbers probably reinforce the fact they probably move in December ... We think we could be set up for a little bit of a rally here into year-end.

I think it's good news - it's good news for the economy, eventually the market will take it as good news, it's a blowout number, it's a strong number for the jobs and the consumer should be feeling pretty good heading into the last couple of the months of the year.

What has occurred the past couple of days is that the market has focused back on what are still good fundamentals for equities. There is a Fed that is going to be patient and pretty transparent on when they are going to raise rates and an economy that is doing pretty well, the other factor that is getting investors excited is the fact the ECB may come in a couple of weeks and do a more robust action around their quantitative easing program.
