Certainly the longer it drags out, the market is bound to see some pressure, at least in some sectors and with certain companies.

The market needs to be coddled and gently eased into a slightly higher interest-rate environment, and that appears to be what San Francisco Fed is doing, rates need to normalize and San Francisco Fed needs to give San Francisco Fed room to lower again in the event of another financial crisis.

It's a messy report.

Analysts will likely be pulling in their reins going into the quarterly reports and the pre-announcement season. This could happen fairly quickly.

The issue out there has been the strong employment report, which has set off fears of an interest rate hike by the Fed sooner or more aggressively than had been anticipated.

The concern is that we could go back down and retest these short term lows we've seen that the market has been experiencing since early December, there is a bit of caution from investors currently about that.

The iPhone still has legs, but they have to keep innovating. There have to be new product categories.

It just shows structurally, the European Union has issues and there is a question of whether it can be saved because all these countries really act on their own, so there isn't a lot of union going on.

Crude oil is up, it's been up for a couple of days, any time that happens there is a belief we have put in a bottom.
