There was really no indication that he had any issue with FedEx, in talking with other employees and FedEx personnel, he simply stopped showing up for work, so he lost his job simply by failing to show.

My understanding is, by the time that officers entered... the situation was over -- that the suspect took his life very shortly before officers entered the facility.
