This decision to run in the election was made to continue the unfinished democratization process for the country, if the NLD won the election, national reconciliation will be the first priority. To make a country develop, stability in politics, economy and in various sectors are very important. If the NLD runs the government, we will prioritize this.

Stability is very important for the election period, instability should not be the reason to stray from the way the country is going.

That's a problem with the international community. They have not lost interest in Burma, they still want Burma to have a happy ending, but they think that they'll get a happy ending simply by insisting that it is a happy ending and that's not how things happen.

I don't like going backwards, i like going forwards so I think rather than reintroducing old methods I think what would help greatly is if everybody seriously put their minds to doing whatever they can to encourage negotiations. That is the doorway to the future.
