This Ryder Cup will be played in the manner in which Davis Love III and I respect each other. We've been friends for such a long time ; I hold Davis in the highest regard... probably one of the best gentlemen in our sport, the Solheim Cup was The Solheim Cup. What Suzann did was correct in The Rules of Golf, but in the spirit of the game, it was wrong. And she admitted that on Monday with hindsight. Hindsight is always a wonderful thing.

The Ryder Cup's just special, isn't The Ryder Cup, when you consider how much pressure the guys are under, going out there and playing some of the golf they play, it really is phenomenal, just sensational. We've seen ridiculous shots being hit, putts holed from everywhere and it's amazing.

Maybe from the European point of view, we're perceived as the underdogs, we have been sometimes in the past, but there shouldn't really be an underdog tag, the teams are so equally matched.

I've played under some great captains and from what I've been told Paul did an unbelievable job with the team last year, he has moved the job on. We all saw the response he got from the players. That is a great testament to the job he did.
