This was an egregious violation and should serve as a stark reminder of the consequences that exist for flouting COVID-19 protocols, these rules and regulations exist for a reason — to keep New Yorkers safe — and we all have an obligation to act responsibly.

Bertha slithered out from under the dash while the owner [was] driving the van to an event. The owner felt tugging on the seat belt. When he looked down, there was Bertha, she was well hidden under the dash even though the van was thoroughly searched.
