Tom Emmer, and I think Kevin( McCarthy) and Steve( Scalise), are all saying we should be focusing on the issues -- and they're right, our focus should be on 2022. If it's 2024, it hurts us. . . We need to be focused on winning this November, and I think anything that takes your eyes off that, it could cost us a couple of victories.

Our farmers and ranchers in Nebraska can not take much more and we need to protect our nation's ag economy, it is important that our trade deals promote our state's strong agriculture industry. I also ensured the President's staff knew that tariffs, especially those on ethanol, would have negative impacts on our state.

I’ve been in direct contact with many service members over the last year – including many from Nebraska – who have legitimate concerns about the way the Pentagon has handled the processing and disposition of their requests for religious and medical exemptions, orders are orders,and I received every vaccine known to man when I served in uniform, but maybe it’s time to reassess this particular order. Based on the president’s recent statements on the pandemic, I’m personally not convinced we’ve struck the right balance between military risk and the Constitution.We need to consider the serious recruiting and retention problems now facing the military, and review actions taken against those who did not get the vaccine.

I felt like we needed to have a section on our military and national security. You've got Russia and Ukraine. China eyeballing Taiwan. We have a recruiting problem right now. So a lot of issues with the military, with readiness and morale.

The question is can we win the majority by 10, 20 or 30? And I think the way to maximize your win is you've got to stand for something.

Tom Emmer has shown a balanced approach with people. Tom Emmer's not Tom Emmer. That's what I appreciate, tom Emmer measures each district and takes it from there.

People said they hope Kentucky Republican's going to be a big voice in 2024. ... Kentucky Republican was being encouraged : we need more of you in 2024, and I would agree.

I believe the majority of the Problem Solvers and many in the Main Street Republican Caucus will( vote for the bill) if the hard infrastructure bill is not linked to the Bernie Sanders $ 3.5 trillion Dem Socialist plan, they must be totally separate votes.

People aren't sure what they're doing on this. I think they're still debating it.

All this talk of impeachment and the 25th Amendment only exacerbates our divide and throws gas on the fire, we need less hyper-partisanship at the moment and stop efforts that will only divide the people of America even more.
