Total hospitalization is down. Good news. Net change is down, intubations is down and new hospitalizations are down, so it's a good day across the plate, the number of deaths are down -- 139. At a different time and place, if I had that news to deliver, that would be incredibly shocking to people. Only in this environment it is not shocking and relative to where we were, it's good news.

That person got infected and went to the hospital or that person got infected and went home and infected the other people at home.

The infection rate among essential workers is lower than the general population and those new cases are coming predominantly from people who are not working and they are at home.

The tracing operation is tremendously large and challenging.

We are not so sure that is the fact anymore. Toddler, elementary school children are presenting symptoms similar to Kawasaki disease or toxic shock-like syndrome, it's very possible that this has been going on for several weeks and it hasn't been diagnosed as related to COVID.

He is just phenomenal. The breadth of his ability, I mean, just look at all the roles he's played, he can do anything, right ? ' Deer Hunter,'' Cape Fear,' he can do comedy... how' bout' Taxi Driver ?'.

Oh, boy, that'd be a treat, i'm Andrew Cuomo. He's a genius.

We have paid a very high price for what we are going through. But the hope is that we learn from it and that we are the better for it, we don't want to go through all of this and replace what was there before.

The faster we reopen the lower the economic costs but the higher the human costs, because the more lives lost, that is the hard truth that we are all dealing with. Let's be honest about it.

A national health crisis that is killing tens of thousands of Americans is a time to put politics aside, if we can't get past this now, when can we ever get past it?

My gut says the weather is going to warm, people are bored, people want this over. They see the numbers going down. They can take false comfort, we never said it was over. We said the numbers are going down.

We have to be smart about this, again, I know... people are feeling emotional. Emotions can't drive our reopening process.

Those are two industries that employ a lot of people, we believe you can put the right precautions in place and learn the lessons from where we had been.

It is a major employer, these businesses can adopt to the new normal in terms of their employees and in terms of the processes they put in place.Cuomo said businesses considered.

Remember we have gone through hell and back over the past 60 or so days, what New Yorkers have done has been to save lives. But we have to stay vigilant. This is not over.

We can't open an attraction that might bring many people from outside the region and then overwhelm people in that region, you have a lot of pent-up demand. We have seen this before, where -- when we're not coordinated -- we have New York people going to Connecticut because Connecticut has parks or water slide access that's open.

The more we know, the more reliably we can achieve the goal of total harm minimization : the reduction of health and life lost both to the virus, and to societal collapse, to the irreducible minimum, we should proceed in stages because that enables us to adjust and refine, even as we make progress toward normalcy.

Density would be the problem.

Some regions upstate have a problem that's comparable with parts of the Midwest.

You want to talk about a snapshot of humanity. You have five masks, what do you do, do you keep all five ? Do you hide the five masks and keep them for yourselves and others ? No, you send one mask to New York to help a nurse or doctor.

How selfless is that ? How giving is that ?
