I would expect a rough day for stocks tomorrow since this attack largely came out of the blue, i'm not overly concerned that it's more than a one-day move, though. We're not yet talking about a large-scale military intervention in the region.

Most managers get paid on earnings growth. If they anticipate bonuses will be slower, they will sell stock to make up the gap, it's one more sign that managements know this will be a tough year for growing earnings.
