We did not hit their guy on purpose at all, that was an absolute mistake. There's no malicious intent whatsoever on Dan Haren's part. None.

Those who say things like asking why (Sasaki) didnt pitch are not giving a single thought to the kids.

Everyone is entitled to doing whatever they want to do, think whatever they want to think, say whatever they want to say, the reaction to me, I have to respect that. My actions are what they are. I have to be responsible for them.

If hometown fans want to boo someone that's trying to help bring the team a World Series again, then that's on them.

I thought it was a hit, I really did, it was a tough play. Hernandez hit it well. It was a tough short-hop for Starlin Castro. But you know they scored it an error. Thankfully so and I was able to finish it off.

I threw the ball well, but those guys played well behind me, too, it went by so quick. It feels like that could have been just five innings the way it kind of played out. My stuff was good as well as my command of the ball.
