We had a plan going into the August 29th launch attempt. It used the sensors to help confirm the proper thermal conditioning of the engines. We had trained that plan, and then we ran into other issues, we were off the script in terms of the normal tanking operation, and the team did a fantastic job working through the managing of a hazardous condition. One of the worst things that you can do when you find yourself in a hazardous condition is just go even further off script.

We agreed on what was called option one, which was to operationally change the loading procedure and start our engine chill down earlier. We also agreed to do some work at the pad to address the leak that we saw at the hydrogen tail service mask umbilical.

Today's anniversary is a good reminder of what a privilege it is to be a part of a mission like this, it's not just the Artemis I mission, but it's a bigger picture of returning to the moon and preparing to go to Mars.

We have had a number of challenges to overcome and those challenges require perseverance, and that perseverance in turn is building character within The NASA team and character necessary to have optimism and in when we are going to be ready to fly.

The mega moon rocket is fine, all the issues that we're encountering are procedural and lessons learned.

We hope that here's something that is fairly straightforward and needs to be adjusted or is easily resolved, and we can do that at the pad and do it in fairly short order, and then there are a couple of more invasive options, and we've got to weigh those against a whole host of considerations that include putting additional stress on the vehicle.
