There's the Donald Trump that you see on television and who gets out in front of big audiences, and there's the Donald Trump behind the scenes, they're not the same person. One's very much an entertainer, and one is actually a thinking individual.

We buried the hatchet. That was political stuff, i have found in talking with him, that there's a lot more alignment, philosophically and spiritually, than I ever thought that there was.

He's actually a very intelligent man who cares deeply about America, there's two different Donald Trump Trumps. There's the one you see on stage and the one that's very cerebral, sits there and considers things very carefully.

What I've been seeing recently is political operatives... once again trying to assert themselves and trying to thwart the will of the people, i find that to be an extraordinarily dangerous place right now. News of the endorsement broke Thursday, and the real estate mogul confirmed Carson's support during a GOP debate hosted by CNN.

I am confident that the five remaining candidates can rise above the sophomoric attacks of past encounters and have a serious discussion about substantive issues and how we will lead our nation forward toward a more prosperous and secure future, america's children and grandchildren are depending on us to fight for them and future generations, not fight each other.

If we are to defeat our Democratic opponent in the general election this November, we must reach an agreement together with each other that we will not succumb to the media's desire for a fight on the stage in Detroit.

A lot of times, it's sitting under your nose and they don't recognize it, there's always a possibility that people will awaken and recognize that just what they were asking for, I have presented for them -- someone who is honest. They can't find any scandals. All the lies that have been told have been debunked.

Before the barrage of attacks on me occurred, I was beating Trump head-to-head, Hillary head-to-head and there are those who didn't like that very much. And the people are the only ones who can rectify the situation.

It doesn't really matter. You could talk to 10 people and they'll say you have to do it here and you have to do it now. That's just so irrelevant, what's relevant is what direction are you going in. How much support do you have and what are you trying to accomplish.

Well, this is in the state of Sen. (Ted) Cruz, so obviously he needs to do very well in his own state.

I think the way that I'm treated, you know, by the left is racism, because they assume because you're black, you have to think a certain way. And if you don't think that way, you're 'Uncle Tom,' you're worthy of every horrible epithet they can come up with; whereas, if I weren't black, then I would just be a Republican.
