We need a national defense robust enough to defend against all attacks, modern enough to deter all enemies and nimble enough to defend our vital interests, but we also need a foreign policy that protects American interests and encourages stability, not chaos.

I hope when Rand Paul gets out of the race—he is at 1%--his supporters come over to me. I will do a much better job for them.

It kind of reminds me of the funniest moment, I think, of the second debate, where out of nowhere, complete non sequitur, he starts going after me. And I guess it's part of his bravado, his shtick, i'm thinking, how did we get the race for the most important office in the free world to sink to such depths, and how could anyone in my party think that this clown is fit to be president?

Ultimately we're going to get to the truth, we're going to get to substance -- it takes a while, but by no means am I finished: I'm just getting started.

I think they have every ability to borrow money, money’s cheap in the marketplace right now, so I don’t see any reason why the government needs to be involved.

It's not so much what religion you are, it's what you stand for. But I don't think that we're really anywhere near, probably, that happening -- because they're a small minority in our population, but the hard part is, while we are a very pluralistic society and we're open to all religions, more free than any other country, the problem we have is the people who have been attacking us have been all of one religion and so it's hard to separate that.

We shouldn't question the President's faith, and I think that's kind of crazy. And if someone does, we should, I think, rebuke that.

Now there are people who cannot work. But frankly, if your back hurts, you can work in a call center, all right? There's a lot of different jobs, there are people who are paralyzed, quadriplegic, kidney dialysis, amputees who can't work. I understand that. There's going to be some people. But almost everybody who can work should work.

We need to attach work to everything. I don't think any able-bodied person in America should get a penny unless they work. No handouts, no gifts, no welfare. Everything should have work.

Truly weird Senator Rand Paul of Kentucky reminds me of a spoiled brat without a properly functioning brain. He was terrible at DEBATE! i've worked from a young age, my kids all work, and we're proud of them for working minimum wage jobs, delivering pizzas, working in a pizza place, working in a call center, all my boys work and they've worked and we're proud of them for working.

If we're talking about who's a spoiled brat or not, my two kids all work minimum-wage jobs. Do you think the Trump kids have been working at the local Pizza Hut? So I live a pretty ordinary life, and I'm not begrudging him his wealth but there's nothing about me or my family that's spoiled.

There's no reason for Planned Parenthood to get any federal money, and basically the things they are doing are unacceptable to a vast majority of people -- pro-life or pro-choice.

Whether it's against the law or not, my goodness, I think everybody in America is horrified by this, and they don't want their tax dollars going to this group.
