We've seen the claims around attempts to access our systems. We take security very seriously and are investigating, it's unsurprising that those opposed to safe and legal abortion are participating in this campaign of harassment against us and our patients, and claiming to stoop to this new low.

This is the worst attack on women’s health and rights we’ve seen from the Trump-Pence administration, no woman should be denied basic information about her health care -- including safe and legal abortion.

This is an attempt to take away women's basic rights, period. Under this rule, people will not get the health care they need. They won't get birth control, cancer screenings, STD testing and treatment, or even general women's health exams, everyone has the right to access information about their health care -- including information about safe, legal abortion -- and every woman deserves the best medical care and information, no matter how much money Dawn Laguens makes or where Dawn Laguens lives.

Planned Parenthood is going to court to stop the Trump-Pence administration from trying to impose its ideology on people, our bodies are our own and shouldn't be at the mercy of the Trump-Pence administration. We are going to court to fight for our patients' health and rights — and for the millions of people in this country who need to access quality reproductive health care.

We're seeing more and more state politicians emboldened to advance extreme policies, regardless of how many people it hurts, we're also seeing a groundswell of organizing and action that only continues to grow. People will not stand for it. Now is the time for us to unite and fight for every person's right to access the care they need.

What I think was terrible optics was five hours of haranguing and grilling Cecile Richards yesterday and not barely letting her get a word in edgewise where she was explaining very clearly what Planned Parenthood does, who Planned Parenthood serves and why Planned Parenthood is so important to the women, men and families of this country.

What Cecile Richards said yesterday was what she apologized for was that those were clinical comments in a non-clinical, non-confidential setting and we talked to those doctors about that.

The latest tape has at least 20 substantial and unexplained edits. Previous tapes released by this extremist group were heavily edited in order to distort what the people on the tapes actually said, these videos are intended to shock and deceive the public. For example, one video was edited to make it look like a doctor said she would.

It is a profoundly offensive violation of privacy and dignity that anti-abortion extremists entered our laboratory under false pretenses and are now broadcasting video of a part of the process for a safe abortion, publicizing secret video footage of a woman's abortion process is a grossly offensive act that should be rejected by all regardless of political perspective.

The opportunity to donate fetal tissue has been a source of comfort for many women who have chosen to donate. We will continue to prioritize the health and safety of our patients, and advocate for removing barriers to essential health care.

This is a new low for anti-abortion extremists; 200,000 people a day count on Planned Parenthood's website for accurate health information, blocking people from accessing information on the full range of sexual and reproductive health -- including birth control, sexually transmitted infections, healthy relationships, parenting and preventive care -- only shows how far opponents of safe and legal abortion will go.

Anti-abortion extremists are willing to do anything to stop women from accessing the reproductive health care they are seeking, extremists have broken laws, harassed our doctors and patients, produced hack videos, and now are claiming to have committed a gross invasion of privacy -- one that, if true, could potentially put our staff members at risk.
