The video clearly shows that Rubén García Villalpando was shot while unarmed with his hands in the air by this officer, it once again shows that there is a double standard of justice in America. Again we see an unarmed individual shot by a police officer who gets away with murder.

It is clear that Ruben had his hands in the air and was trying to comply with the officer, you could hear the officer’s rant and his unprofessional and disrespectful use of profanity.

To prosecute him and kind of make an example out of him, I don’t think would’ve happened number one if he wasn’t a Latino and number two if he wasn’t an immigrant, i think race played a role in this.
