I'm not going to lie: it's tough. There were a couple of games where you're down, and you're in a really dark place, and you don't know if you're ever going to come out of it. You realize, 'Hey, I'm having a bad day,' but you realize there are people out there having worse days.

I hustle, I run down the line, I do whatever I can to win ball games. Those are the only things we can control as baseball players.

Defense, for me, is where I really love to put work in most. Defense is, in my mind, what wins games.

Obviously, we need to stand in front of a camera and answer questions, but ultimately, I just play baseball. That's what I'm good at; that's what I know.

Going over to L.A., L.A. giving up a lot of prospects for me, that kind of shows you what I meant to them, which is amazing.

The Orioles drafted me. I did a lot for that community, I did a lot for the state, and they didn't show me a little bit of love.
