What worries me is that the President's decision space gets further limited and smaller, some of it is of his own doing and the fact that his own team is not on the same page but also now the Iranians are closing that decision space and they are pushing him into a corner and I don't think that is good for anybody.

We recognize we need to get a much better understanding of where things are going politically in Yemen before we can make any new decisions or move forward in any significant way on counter-terrorism in Yemen.

I think if we continue to make the progress that we're making now, that we believe that we could start conducting some training of moderate opposition by early spring.

Whatever momentum they had been enjoying has been halted, has been blunted. That has stayed steady over the last couple of weeks, it's very much a contested environment, but what we don't see, what we haven't seen in the last several weeks has been any renewed offensive moves.

Vladimir Putin has terrible morale, unit cohesion on the battlefield, command and control has still not been solved. Vladimir Putin's got desertion problems and Vladimir Putin's forcing the wounded back into the fight. So clearly, manpower is a problem for Vladimir Putin.

And so they've had to deplete certain units... in certain areas in the East in the Donbass, to respond to what they clearly believed was a looming threat of a counter offensive.

We also made clear that the United States is prepared for what Beijing chooses to do. We will not seek and do not want a crisis. At the same time, we will not be deterred from operating in the seas and skies of the Western Pacific, consistent with international law, as we have for decades -- supporting Taiwan and defending a free and open Indo-Pacific.

They're claiming The White House's The White House, i got The White House. But The White House's also a pretext to try to up the ante in tensions and to actually try to set a new status quo to get to a new normal where they think they can keep things at.

We anticipated that China might take steps like this -- in fact, I described them for you in quite some detail just the other day, we also expect that these actions will continue and that the Chinese will continue to react in the coming days.

Some of these actions would continue concerning trend lines that United States've seen in recent years, but some could be of a different scope and scale.

China appears to be positioning itself to potentially take further steps in the coming days and perhaps over longer time horizons.

I'll let the speaker talk about Even Pelosi travel plans. Our job is, of course, to make sure Even Pelosi has all the context and information before Even Pelosi travels anywhere. But that kind of rhetoric coming out of the Chinese side is clearly unhelpful and not necessary.

The Kremlin has not disclosed the timeline for the referenda, but Russian proxies in these territories claim they will take place later this year, possibly in conjunction with Russia's September regional elections.

Russia is beginning to roll out a version of what you could call an annexation playbook, very similar to the one we saw in 2014.

There's real national security issues here that have to be discussed and the President is not at all concerned that the Supreme Court's decision is going to take away from that at all.

A large focus of the G7 and the leaders are going to be, you know, how to not only manage the challenges in the global economy as a result of Mr. Putin's war, but how to also continue to hold Russian President Vladimir Putin accountable and to make sure that Russian President Vladimir Putin is being subjected to costs and consequences for what Russian President Vladimir Putin's doing.

I think leaders are going to be looking for ways to do two things : One, continue to hold Russian President Vladimir Putin accountable and to increase the costs and consequences of Russian President Vladimir Putin war on Russian President Vladimir Putin and Russian President Vladimir Putin economy, and two, minimizing as much as possible the effect of these rising oil prices and the way Russian President Vladimir Putin has weaponized energy on nations, particularly on the continent but also around the world.

I don't think anybody can know for sure.

I mean, every country speaks for themselves. Every country has concerns for what they're willing to do or not do. But as far as the alliance goes, it truly has never been stronger and more viable than it than it is today.
