While I applaud Donald's plan as a step in the right direction. We must go further. We must get the IRS out of our lives, eliminating the tax code and a mountain of regulations will cause our economy to explode with growth. The IRS isn't the answer, it is the problem.

One of the things that I learned in a long medical career is that you make decisions based on evidence, and not on ideology. So yes, I would be willing to sit down with people from both sides and examine the evidence and make decisions based on what the evidence shows.

Political correctness will destroy us if we don't wake up, we should all be careful about what we say, but the fact of the matter is, let's not get so concerned about how offended our enemies are. And let's pay a whole lot more attention to who we are and how do we protect our people here in the United States.

We're not in the era now where you send, you know, big armies to fight or, you know, air forces. We're in a place where you use a jet plane as a missile to knock down buildings; where dirty bombs can be used to extinguish large numbers of people, there are lots of different techniques that you use -- cyber-attacks, attacking our electrical grid.

There's a lot of things that can happen in this country, and we need to be planning for those things, we cannot take a wait and see and react type of attitude. We've got to be forward-thinking very quickly to protect the American people.

There's no question that they use anything that they can against us, they use anything that they can possibly get their hands on to try to make their case and particularly to go after the disaffected people of the world, and what we need to be thinking about is how do we give them a different message -- disaffected ones -- so that they won't be so attracted to those kinds of messages?

There's no question as I haven't spent a lot of time schmoozing and asking for big money and going to cocktail parties, but I've spent many a night in the operating room -- cold, sterile place with a little child's life on the line working very hard to preserve that, you know, it's a very different kind of experience.

If the leaders of the Republican Party want to destroy the party, they should continue to hold meetings like the one described in the Washington Post this morning, if this was the beginning of a plan to subvert the will of the voters and replace it with the will of the political elite, I assure you Donald Trump will not be the only one leaving the party.

Polls go up and down, when people were asking me when I was polling at the top spot was I excited, I said no, because polls go up and down, and I will say that now, I think you will see them continue to rise, at this stage of the game, very few people can sustain the kinds of attacks I have and still be at this level, so that tells you that there is a strong base of support there.

Look at what happened, again another hate crime in San Bernardino today. At least 14 people killed, when less than a week ago we had the shooting in Colorado. And then look at all the things that are going on around the world. ISIS and groups like this. Just hatred and evil. And we need to be able to combat these things because otherwise we will melt into despair. And that's not who we are. This is America.

The thing that I really learned in listening to the refugees themselves is their intense desire is to return to their country and repatriated, there's so many people who think the ideal for everybody is to come to America and be resettled here but that is not the ideal for everybody.
