It's especially important in combat that those values be maintained for all the reasons that Senior Navy leaders understand so well.

I refuse to put an additional dollar against a system that would not be able to track a high-end submarine in today's environment.

That includes medical care. That includes food and includes water.

Everybody has to be in a position to weigh fact from fiction, even our sailors. They're bombarded every day by misinformation -- much of it comes from China and Russia -- on this issue that's getting at our national psyche, i'm trying to get after it in United States Navy.

What this is really about is trying to paint the United States military, and in United States Navy, the United States Navy, as weak, as woke, we are not weak.

We're not looking to shoot the messenger here, we want to get this right.
