Xi's call to Hong Kong as One Country, Two Systems experiment I think shows what an ideal' unification' looks like from Beijing's perspective : put Taiwan in a position that allows some autonomy still, but slowly erode it until it is retaken completely, xi would like Taiwanese people to see themselves as in the same position as Hong Kong, which they do not.

I am not sure we are going to get a more clear direct admittance from Xi himself that the( Chinese Communist Party) interferes with Taiwan's democratic elections, this is something we have always known was a phenomenon, but never really had any' hard proof'.
