Americans should not have to wonder if their government is actively looking to subvert them or their political views. We live in a nation where respect for differing beliefs and a vibrant political discourse play an important role in shaping our government.

When President Obama asked Congress to raise the debt ceiling $2 trillion and offered sequestration as an offset, I opposed it. I did not believe we should put the country $2 trillion deeper in debt and impose irresponsible massive cuts to our national security.

All of our members of this committee are in full support of the men and women who every day work to keep our nation safe at Cincinnati FBI and the Department of Justice, we condemn any actions of violence against any law enforcement personnel.

This committee is intended to be focused on national security and that's what we're going to focus on.

Those are very important details that we need to be brought up to speed on.

China has made statements that they do not want to be in a conflict with Ukrainians, but arming Russia would have them enter that.
