Justice by any and all means necessary.

There have been decades of failed policies: zero tolerance, harassment and people being locked up for small crimes -\-\ policies that drive a divide between communities and law enforcement. So many people feel like they are voiceless, that they've been dehumanized. What we saw in the riots is a result of that.

My heart and passion has always been to reform the criminal justice system. I want to be a public servant, and I wanted to be a prosecutor because I felt it was the best way forward.

We are not relying solely on their findings but rather the facts that we have gathered and verified, we ask for the public to remain patient and peaceful and to trust the process of the justice system.

Our investigation revealed that we had enough probable cause to bring charges against the six officers, the grand jury, who also concluded there is sufficient evidence for probable cause, returned indictments on all counts presented to them.

There is no conflict of interest. I'm going to prosecute. I'm the Baltimore state's attorney. My district includes every city in Baltimore city. A number of crimes that take place in Baltimore city and unfortunately in the district we live. Where is the conflict?

These unethical disclosures are only damaging our ability to conduct a fair and impartial process for all parties involved.

To the people of Baltimore and demonstrators across America, I heard your call for 'No Justice, No peace,' your peace is sincerely needed as I work to deliver justice on behalf of this young man.

The manner of death deemed a homicide by the Maryland state medical examiner is believed to be the result of a fatal injury that occurred while Mr. Gray was unrestrained by a seat belt in the custody of the Baltimore Police Department wagon.
