Every team was special, but I thought the only thing that last couple years, we didn't pass the second round. Just playing, and no satisfaction. Every year we want to fight through it. Finally we did. We knew this year is going to be our year. We just have to believe it and keep working, keep playing.

Get some beers, get some whatever and start celebrating, we are Stanley Cup champions. Washington Capitals baby!

We've got to play our game. We got to go period by period and try to turn it around, win the next game.

This was a hard decision but we talk about it, coaching staff, trainers, and we tried to battle through it, but it's stayed the same, i have to get ready for the rest of the year, get healthy, and I think we have a good chance to have success and I want to be a part of it.
