This is a landmark decision, it's limited to Germany but strikes me as exportable and might have a significant impact on Facebook's business model.

This conduct fits fairly nicely into existing legal theories which are well established under existing EU competition law.

We have seen this movie before. Defendants in big European antitrust cases have made the same arguments, and they argued, again like Google today, that the antitrust authorities just don't get it, and that the remedy they demand cannot be implemented without causing technical and market chaos.

Never has a competition case brought together such a geographical or industrial breadth of concerned parties. There's just never been anything like it, probably never has any company exerted so much power on so many key markets.
