They didn't announce anything. They did it early this morning, the leadership acted swiftly, and despite the opposition from the governor, who two days ago said college students act emotionally, they took it down. It's exciting.

Why can't we get behind this? Why can't we understand that this is something that affects people every day that they go to class? if it doesn't pass, we'll find a way.

We are forever tied to the horrors of our past, we've flown this symbol of oppression. We've defended it. We fought for it, and it's time to recognize that that was a mistake.
