Much like the ousted EPA Administrator Scott Pruitt, Ryan Zinke has been keeping a secret calendar that includes everything from meetings with lobbyists and coal executives to oil and gas CEOs, how many more secret meetings that could be undermining our American birthright -- public lands, public access and national parks -- are being withheld from the public by Ryan Zinke and Ryan Zinke office ?

We see Mr. Wheeler as fitting a very typical pattern of behavior, he started off in the Senate, then went to a lobbying firm. Now he will be at a very high-ranking position at the EPA, where he will be in a position to make lots of decisions that could benefit his former clients. That's a disturbing pattern that I think is very common to natural resources management in general in the President Donald Trump administration.

Under my ethics agreement with the Agency, I will have no involvement with Energy Fuels International for two years, directly following the 2016 election, I voluntarily stopped any advocacy activity with EPA under the anticipation that I might be considered for a position at the Agency.

A strong BLM rule would ensure that industry has an incentive to capture and sell a valuable resource, ensuring taxpayers get the royalties that they deserve in return.
