For more than 150 years, nearly every Confederate monument wasn't even touched, that has only happened in the last couple of years.

It’s just extremely old-school and, I think, honestly weird to them, that’s not the image that they have of what white nationalism should be.

At the heart of this is a complaint that the federal government owns so much land, and that feeling is typical in a lot of western states, but that land doesn't belong to them. It belongs to all of us and the government is working to preserve it.
