Ohio reflects the broader debate that's going on about economic uncertainty and the impact of free trade in particular, it's very clear that Donald Trump intends to make a major play for the industrial Midwest and so I think this highlights that she doesn't intend to let him get away with it.

Once she got to the Senate, she was determined to work with Republicans, the senator I saw was someone who was very cautious. She picked an issue and worked very hard to build consensus.

I played a lot of hardball in my life, but I don't envy what the Clinton campaign is up against here. Having a former president on the campaign trail, as far as I'm concerned, is a good thing, but it needs to be done carefully, i assume that the Clinton campaign is going to make sure that he doesn't overshadow her as he begins to ramp up his campaigning.

This has no effect. Last time I checked, former Obama aides and/or outside groups don't really have a vote within the Democratic caucus.

He might be soft spoken but unlike some politicians, he likes the idea of mixing things up, there's a method to the madness.

It really wouldn't be a particularly good use of their time, because they're busy in committee meetings and dealing with their staff and their constituents. the fact of the matter is, I'm not so sure how many members read bills. And I'm also not sure whether members should be spending that much time reading bills in the first place — that's why God created staff.

When there was a Republican administration, as a Democrat, at the risk of stating the obvious, I'm not so sure we spent much time working on the details more than how we were creating the sound bites to push (Republicans) back and take a whack at them.

For anyone craning to hear the conversation through the walls, I wouldn't expect a lot of laughter, it's not the funniest group of people you've ever put together.
