There's going to be a pandemic of well-being issues in health care workers, including residents and fellows, that will parallel the [ Covid ] pandemic unless we begin to address it now and into the future, even after the pandemic is over, we feel it's very important that residents receive adequate rest, particularly in an area when they need to be paying close attention to infection control practices and the use of personal protective equipment. So that's our number one concern.
