We need to make sure that our first responders are ready to put their lives on the line to save the lives of others. The job of the police is to protect and serve, and when they fail to protect the public, they are serving no one, this is why we must see to it that our first responders are trained to deal with tragic circumstances and restore balance and peace in the world around them ; they must have the mental health resources that will allow them to maintain a state of mental balance no matter what they face.

I believe that the way we all get through this is by not letting it become who we are, in our case, tragedy will not stand in the way of triumph.

All of these additions to our campus, although necessary, continuously serve as a reminder of the tragedy that happened at MSD.
