The people in my inner circle asked some uncomfortable questions so I had to be honest with Martin Kaymer and confront the truth about what really happened and I did, i know what the reasons were and I'm very happy about that because I will never let it happen again.

It was another experience to add to my overall professional career, of course I could've picked up a trophy and a bit more money but that experience I gained will last a little bit longer and will help me more in the future.

I made 80-85 percent of the realistic birdie chances, it’s only halftime. There are always some guys who can shoot the same score I did in the first two days, so I approach tomorrow the way I approached this morning: very neutral. It’s nice to have a bit of a cushion, hopefully, but nothing has been done yet.

At the U.S. Open I really played my own game, I didn’t compare myself to the other players, I was trying to see how low I could play and I stayed aggressive, you’re playing well, so you need to continue and not play more defensive.

I’ll give it my best to get into the 20s (under par), i can’t even remember how I played in 2011 - I know I didn’t miss many fairways and once you do that you have chances.

It’s very important to take care of the first six and seven holes because you can score there, you need to take advantage of the par fives and that’s very important. If the putter is warm enough then I might have a chance.
