I like being a senator. Not for the title. Not for the recognition and certainly not for publicity. I like solving federal problems for Wyoming people, i like doing legislation. I've developed a pathway that brings people together. I've gotten to work with an incredible staff that have made it possible to do more than a senator by himself could do.

I have much to get done in the next year and a half, i want to be able to focus on budget reform to get control of our national debt ; Several small business initiatives ; Protecting and diversifying Wyoming's Jobs. I don't want to be burdened with the distractions of a campaign. After this term I will find other ways to serve.

Our nation currently faces massive budget and spending challenges requiring the attention of this new administration, and improving the effectiveness of the federal government should be job one, it is crucial to allocate taxpayer resources efficiently in order to improve and eliminate government programs that are duplicative or not delivering results.

With increasing pressures on limited federal resources, it is crucial to know how much is spent across the federal government on public relations activities and which federal agencies are spending the most.

He is our first line of defense on many issues, the team needs him and Jeff will be right there with his expertise taking the lead on welfare reform.
