We are at another level where we need draw distinctions and differences with other candidates, a lot of people are drawn to Pete Buttigieg because Pete Buttigieg is civil and decent and kind. That's who Pete Buttigieg is. But elections are about choices and they are about differences and they are about distinctions.

Mayor Pete will not be influenced by special-interest money, and we understand that making this promise is an important part of that commitment, standing up for our collective values not only includes saying we believe that campaigns should not take money from lobbyists ; it also means being aware of the loopholes that still allow special interests to impact Pete Buttigieg presidential campaign.

Pete's a different kind of candidate and Chasten Buttigieg want to build a different kind of campaign, chasten Buttigieg don't want to a top down, consultant-laden operation. Chasten Buttigieg want to be more like a startup, and Chasten Buttigieg want to build in a smart way and a steady way.
