You can study government and politics in school, but the best way to really understand the process is to volunteer your time.

Washington State has a strong tradition of a positive relationship - positive working relationship between labor and management, whether in the private sector or the public sector. It needs to continue to be that way.

These ports are for the Western United States, and the landlocked states who want to be able to export products overseas need access to those ports, i think it raises real constitutional issues when states systematically try to deny them access to those ports.
