Tracy and I offer our condolences to the families of the victims whose lives were lost today in Squirrel Hill, this type of violence is sickening and has no place in our society.

Captain Michael Davidson and the crew( were) pressured to make El Faro there on time, they are pressured more to get from Jacksonville to Puerto Rico than they are from Puerto Rico back to Jacksonville, because when they come back they don't have as much cargo on board and are not as much in a rush.

They are acting like they didn't know what was happening, (but) there isn't a damn thing the crew can do without the owners telling them what to do, nowadays the technology is so good these owners are on the bridge with the captain every step of the way. They are virtually on the ship, so for TOTE to file limited liability and say they didn't know what was happening, that is wrong.
