The sad reality is that, at this point in human history, all stars are effectively at a distance ofinfinity, we struggle very hard as a speciesto reach the Earths moon.

So thats where we stand, firmly on the Earth, and unlikely to change for a very, very long time.

This is surprising because you'd expect the density to be higher, this is consistent with the notion that the planet is extremely old.
