Something has to be started, if not now then when ? We have character and pride but in all other aspects we have to improve, this is the ideal moment to say' let's do something'. Sport has brought so much joy to the people.

We are sad but proud at the same time, we played well but the penalty knocked the wind out of us and after that it was very difficult.

They were tired, they were exhausted, they were overjoyed, they have a day off and we'll assess them tomorrow. They let their hair down and I approved that because we have been in isolation for 50 days.

We were undermanned in midfield, we were left to only hit long balls. That's not how Croatia play. That's not our style.

Of course there is some power left for the English — we will not stop, we will try to play our best game then, we have two matches to play, we are very motivated, we will give our all.

I think that we will win over additional fans. Whoever watched this match, whoever watched Croatia play, will surely start rooting for Croatia.
