We are sad but proud at the same time, we played well but the penalty knocked the wind out of us and after that it was very difficult.

For me, Messi is the best player in the world and Neymar is very close, but at this World Cup, the star-studded teams relying on the big names are already on the beach. It's the compact, united teams fighting for something that are still around.

They were tired, they were exhausted, they were overjoyed, they have a day off and we'll assess them tomorrow. They let their hair down and I approved that because we have been in isolation for 50 days.

We were undermanned in midfield, we were left to only hit long balls. That's not how Croatia play. That's not our style.

Of course there is some power left for the English — we will not stop, we will try to play our best game then, we have two matches to play, we are very motivated, we will give our all.

I think that we will win over additional fans. Whoever watched this match, whoever watched Croatia play, will surely start rooting for Croatia.
