Money is flowing into Hong Kong stocks because they're relatively cheap compared with bonds, but since the rally is driven by liquidity, not fundamental factors, I suspect the market will lose upward momentum before long.

After over-reaction, investors realized that Brexit won't have an immediate huge impact... and won't suddenly cause a financial crisis.

The Hong Kong stock market has already reacted in anticipation, money flows in the market, in particular of funds in Hong Kong-listed China companies, have started to transfer to those ADR companies, which affect the liquidity of the Hong Kong market.

People are covering back their short positions as sentiment has been too bearish earlier, but I wouldn't be very bullish as the overall economic picture remains bad.

The tax cut is good news, as it raises hopes that China will unveil similar stimulus in other sectors, but I don't think more stimulus would reverse the market trend, because China's severe structural problems cannot be solved overnight.
