The de Blasio administration should never have waited for four years.

The de Blasio administration should never have waited for four years or until September because the idea that The NYPD couldn't have acted before DOJ has always been a lie.

We want it to be done swiftly, we don't want politics to play a part in this, we just want justice for my son.

This is a history-making moment, it's just so overwhelming to see all who have come to stand with us. Look at the masses -- black, white, all races, all religions. ... We need to stand like this at all times.

If Eric Garner was a white man in Suffolk County doing the same thing that he was doing -- even if he would have been caught selling cigarettes that day -- they would have given him a summons and he wouldn't have lost his life that day, i believe that 100 percent.

The riots have been so beautiful, so nicely done, and peace is the message. We don't want any violence but keep on moving on.

I don't know what video they were looking at, evidently, it wasn't the same one that the rest of the world was looking at.
