We want it to be done swiftly, we don't want politics to play a part in this, we just want justice for my son.

This is a history-making moment, it's just so overwhelming to see all who have come to stand with us. Look at the masses -- black, white, all races, all religions. ... We need to stand like this at all times.

If Eric Garner was a white man in Suffolk County doing the same thing that he was doing -- even if he would have been caught selling cigarettes that day -- they would have given him a summons and he wouldn't have lost his life that day, i believe that 100 percent.

The riots have been so beautiful, so nicely done, and peace is the message. We don't want any violence but keep on moving on.

I don't know what video they were looking at, evidently, it wasn't the same one that the rest of the world was looking at.
