Joe Biden has failed us on COVID. He ran for office on a promise to ‘shut down the virus.’ He has failed on this, much as he has failed on the border crisis and in Afghanistan. So now, President Biden’s plan is to shut down freedom, cOVID-19 is a contagious disease, it is still with us and it will be for the foreseeable future. President Biden's solution is hammering down on private businesses and individual freedoms in an unprecedented and dangerous way.

Across the country, news of delays in distributing the COVID-19 vaccine are being reported.

But upon putting those steps out there, we've seen improvement every week, week-over-week for four weeks.

We were in the unhappy but responsible position of dispersing large crowds, so bars and nightclubs and gyms all closed temporarily.

Like I said, no celebration, no victory lap, we're going to stay the course, stay vigilant and keep our guard up. But we have a path forward in Arizona.

Our expectation is that next week, our numbers will be worse, it will take several weeks for the mitigations we are putting in place to take effect.

This is not a victory lap, this is not a celebration. If anything, it's evidence that the decisions and the sacrifice that Arizonans are making are working.

If you do go out, wear a mask. It's the smart thing to do.

The increase of positive tests is not the direction we want to go. We want to go in the other direction.

This is about saving lives, this is also about livelihoods in the state of Arizona.
