The virus spreads along social networks, family networks. And identifying those social networks and ensuring that both contacts and contacts of those contacts are vaccinated is a highly effective strategy.

We believe, let me be very cautious here, we believe we are probably detecting in excess of 75% of cases - we may be missing up to a quarter of cases, we must get earlier detection of cases, have more exhaustive identification of contacts.

We'd be in a lot worse situation without this vaccine right now, but the vaccine can't protect you if you're not vaccinated.

Transmission within the healthcare setting has been a major factor driving this outbreak, unfortunately, women and children have been the unwitting victims of that reality.

Every time we have managed to regain control over the virus and contain its spread, we have suffered major, major security events, we are anticipating a scenario of continued intense transmission.

It's quite a focused amplification of disease in a very specific geographic area, but the disease there has risen because of lack of access to that community, we've fallen behind in starting vaccination rings.
