I came here for a reason and we accomplished that reason and certainly have some momentum going into next week.

I just seem to get some lucky breaks here at the John Deere.

I putted about as well today as I have the past couple months, ultimately this was a big day for me in my preparation for next week.

It kind of dampens it. You want the defending champion, much less the best player in the world at the event, you want all fields to be full strength no matter who it is. Losing the number one player in the world for a major championship would be tough.

Five-over on the last six holes was very disappointing, just a couple of bad swings was all it was.

It was either Colt Knost or Robert Garrigus ... I'm not sure who started with the nickname, but it's not nice what I say to them when they say it to me. I've been working on trying to keep it quiet. And this week isn't going to help.

It felt like we were back home on a random weekend, i couldn't partake in what they were doing. But it was fun to watch.

Two shots can be made up in one hole.

It's the most incredible week of my life, this is as great as it gets in our sport.

It's all run together. It all happened quickly, sometimes it feels like a long time ago. And sometimes it feels like yesterday. All in all, it's really cool.

So you get reminded of it all the time, because when you're Masters champion, it's a different legacy, and so that definitely left me hungry. And then also, having a chance to win the last couple of week and not pulling it off.

So the combination of the two allowed me to keep my head down, not worry about anyone else in the field except myself and to play a golf course that is my favorite course in the world.

He's got four majors.

That just took some guts, and having been in this scenario, or having been in contention enough, having been on tour for a few years, I felt comfortable enough playing that full flop. If you caught me a year-and-a-half ago, I probably never would have played that shot in that scenario.

As far as history and what happened the last couple of days, it doesn't mean anything unless I can close it out, i don't want to go down as the 36-hole best record, but somebody who didn't win.

Jordan's playing great golf, so sometimes you get in the lead and you sort of maybe change your game plan a little bit, i just kept my game plan and just kept trying to make birdies, was able to do a pretty good job of that.

It's special to be in the tournament.

So that's a little frustrating, but I'm certainly OK with the day.
