We live in a complicated world. I can't imagine what it's like to have every single person in the industry wait for your opinion on every... matter. He's only human. That's a lot of pressure, some will say he chose that path or whatever, but I'd like to think that some people just go with the flow, be it healthy for them or not, because they think it's what they're supposed to do.

If I'm an advocate for anything, it's to move. As far as you can, as much as you can. Across the ocean, or simply across the river. The extent to which you can walk in someone else's shoes or at least eat their food, it's a plus for everybody. Open your mind, get up off the couch, move.

Just because someone you work with is a miserable, treacherous, self-serving, capricious and corrupt asshole shouldn't prevent you from enjoying their company, working with them or finding them entertaining.
