Thanks to the military parliamentarians for their cooperation and not going against us, i think our people will be happy about this too.

We chose T Khun Myat ... because the USDP is the second-largest party in the chamber. We went for someone from the USDP who is also an ethnic lawmaker. We want to include ethnic people because they represent the union.

I believe that the people elected by the parliament represent national reconciliation, when the NLD was facing difficulties, ethnic parties supported us ... we don't forget to be grateful to our allies.

The peace process is the first thing the new government will work on. We will try for the all inclusive ceasefire agreement, we can do nothing without peace in our country.

As far as we understand, it was the fifth similar incident this year, this sort of accident is common just because there is no rule of law. It also reflects lack of due consideration for the safety of people's life and property.
